WCCVA Director of Public Policy

The WCCVA Board of Directors is looking to fill the Director of Public Policy position!
This is a full-time, senior level, non exempt, staff position. The candidate selected for the position will have an extensive and strong professional background in both public policy and budget development in the state of Washington, a demonstrated knowledge and intimate understanding of policy development and the legislative process, a proven track record of success on the hill, a comprehensive understanding of public disclosure law, and a solid network of long established relationships with key lawmakers, committee staff, and the Governor's Office. Last, but definitely not least, the successful candidate will have a personal dedication to supporting victims of crime and strengthening crime victims' rights and services.
The public policy position is based out of the WCCVA office in Olympia, WA. Some travel is required. An advanced degree in law or public policy and a minimum of ten-years professional public policy or government affairs experience is required.
